Touch ‘n Go eWallet, the champion of mobility in Malaysia has expanded its presence to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) further enhancing the rakyat’s cashless experience within the transportation sector.
The strategic partnership that was officiated by YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport, is set to offer Malaysians an alternative easy and secure payment option when they purchase bus tickets at TBS which is on its way to becoming the first-ever cashless bus terminal in the country.
As the leading eWallet in Malaysia, Touch ‘n Go eWallet is continuously looking to grow its touchpoints especially within the mobility segment. This partnership with Terminal Bersepadu Selatan is in line with Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s mission to digitise the transportation industry and further accelerate the government’s aspirations of transforming the nation into a cashless society.
Moving forward, Touch ‘n Go eWallet will continue to expand its footprint to more bus terminals and bring its advanced technology in the digital payments landscape to Malaysians.
Following the implementation of the e-Tunai Rakyat, Malaysians can also use their RM30 to purchase bus tickets using the Touch 'n Go eWallet at the Terminal Bas Selatan that accommodates approximately 13,000 travellers every day.
At present, Touch 'n Go eWallet has over 125,000 merchant touchpoints catering to its 8 million users. The eWallet aims to grow its user base to 12 million by the end of 2020.
